Introducing The Kapre…

The Philippine cryptid creature, described by locals as ‘The Tree Giant’. Phenomenally tall, this long legged, muscular, hairy humanoid spends hours lounging in trees, smoking cigars, waiting to cause mischief with passers-by.

Oftentimes, when locals encounter a Kapre, they report hearing loud laughs from the trees or see leaves rustling when there’s no wind or animals nearby. Mischievous rather than evil, The Kapre likes to play pranks and mind games on locals, disorientate travellers and fall helplessly in love with human women.

Neon fire pit in full glow! I have been working on this one for a while now, but loved having a play around with it (and some dry ice - always fun) at the warehouse before it took centre stage at @donpapamasskara’s #netherlands launch last week.
